Play Time's Over - League of Legends by DeltaRee Play Time's Over - League of Legends by DeltaRee
At last, pics of my Ahri cosplay! I love playing her when mid laning! :D
I'm pretty proud of being able to make it in time for the convention while working fulltime (I'm a slow worker hahaha!), though my tails did not end up being what I expected them to. They'll need a rework if I'm to rewear this cosplay!

Character: Ahri, the Nine-Tailed Fox
Series: League of Legends

Your outfit is absolutely perfect~! ^-^ Down to every last detail~! And your tails are the best I've seen by far. I've been wanting to cosplay as Foxfire Ahri but one of the major things I've noticed in any Ahri cosplay is that the tails usually end up looking very derpy and unnatural, and in a lot of cases they diminish the overall quality of the cosplay. But you're amazingly skilled~!

Thank you! I always try to make everything as detailed and close to the source material when it comes to a costume, so I'm really glad you like it, especially with a challenging cosplay like Ahri. And I have to agree about the tails! I'm not entirely satisfied with how they look here, and I'd like to work on them some more, but I'm really glad you like them. :'D And oooooh please do cosplay the Foxfire, it looks lovely!

Hello dear Ree! :iconasdfghplz:

Your cosplay looks amazing and I'm plaing on cosplaying a Kyuubi girl from another game series and i'd LOVE to know how you did the tails!
was that a special kind of fabric you used for the furr? what is inside of the tails. are they heavy? what did you use do attach them onto the cosplay or did you use a belt?
All that stuff cause i'm really woried to f*ck my cosplay up xD

Thank you so much!

The tails themselves are simply made of fake fur you can find in any ordinary fabric store! I used up all of the 3 meters I bought for them, so you'll definitely need at least that much for your own. They're stuffed with little foam beads like this, which weighs a lot less than polyfill/plush toy stuffing. They still did end up pretty heavy though, so you'll need something solid to support them! I mounted the tails on fence wire and attached them all to a harness that's hidden under the cosplay and attaches with two belts around my hips and waist. This harness put a lot of pressure on my hips though due to the weight and was more or less painful to wear, so I'll most likely be working on a new version of it next time I'll wear this costume!

I'll be glad to answer any other questions you have! :)
