Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Katsucon!! + G-Anime review

Hey there everyone!

Long time no see amirite? Yeah, blame finals! They're all done with! And I got pretty good grades almost everywhere (mod will forever haunt me, but hey at least I passed with a 75% which is good enough).

Katsucon is in a week! I absolutely cannot wait! I'm leaving on Wednesday night so my travel group and I can arrive early afternoon on Thursday and settle in smoothly. It'll be my first con in the US, and I'm really happy it gets to be one of my dream cons! I'm also pretty nervous; tons of incredibly talented cosplayers will be there haha!

I'll most likely only be walking around in casual clothing, I intend on going to bed early enough to get over our 12 hour trip by bus X__X Might have fun and wear a suit for a ''Megucas in Black'' version of Kyoko! XD

So yup, can't wait to have fun and meet new people! Invasion of the canadians haha!

Now for the latest con I went to, which was also the first of 2013! With my last exam on Saturday morning on Jan 26th, I was off on a bus to Gatineau for G-Anime!

Was it worth going considering I went for a day and a half? Yup! Only had the bus ticket to pay with me staffing for the convention as part of security (wear a red shirt with ''Security'' printed on the back and people instantly obey you, surprising huh?!) and my good friend

having me over at her appartment, the con only cost me 21$! Happy Ree was happy! And this year the con was incredibly fun, with absolutely no drama, a lot of great local cosplayers and fun events!

So here's a short review of the con!
+ Only one cosplay this time, Stocking, which I wore on Sunday with

as my Panty! Loved wearing her, I can't wait to have a shoot with our full group at a better location!

, with both shoots being tons of fun as usual!
+ Saw a lot friends and people I knew! Hung out a lot with

+ A ton of my friends and people I knew entered the Masquerade, and most of them won awards! I'm so proud of them, and if any one of you is reading this, then congrats again!!

+ I helped out a few friends managing the cosplay chess by playing as a missing pawn, and I have to say the chess this year was hilarious! XD A few friends on the set had dressed as ''Convention Staff Cowboys'', so their attacks on other pieces involved escorting them out of the convention because their props weren't weapon checked.

So yup, G-Anime was great, and I look forward to next year very much!

Thanks to all my cosplay buddies I saw there, even if only for a small while!
